I think the Brain Forza organic turkey tail mushroom supplement is the very best! I will continue to buy it, but not from Brain Forza, because it took almost 3 weeks to be delivered, which is crazy! Amazon carries it and never takes that long to deliver it.

The received 12 Turkey Tails bottles are about to be expired in November 2026! How are we supposed to finish 12 bottles in less than 3 months?! We have ordered many times from Brain Foraza before, and this is the first time we are getting a product with such a short remaining shelf life. Very disappointing.

The expiry is actually July 2029 as per COA of raw material, however, when we make a product, we give it a 2 shelf life - then retest and certify again another 2 years or less depending on the COA expiry date. So these bottles are more than good! You just did not receive the update expiry on the bottle. They are good to go until July 2029. Thanks!

I'll make this one quick. Again like I said before, they make the best mushrooms in my opinion. I use Cordyceps most, but try to take the other three mushrooms everyday as well, but forget sometimes :( I wish they would make a combo product you could take everyday.

I ordered the 6 bottles of turkey tails for the first time from Brain Forza in April 2020. I held back on leaving any review since then so that I can try out the product to determine how well it works. My immune system was very poor before I went on the regimen of turkey tails. I was also losing my hair. Having taken the turkey tails for several months, I now feel well with far less coughs and runny noses than I ever had before. I also observe a side effect of seeing thicker hair on my head. I'm now a true believer of the effects of turkey tails, and I can tell that Brain Forza has produced a very good quality grade of it.

I take lions mane 2tab 2x a day. I take Turkey tail and chaga to prevent a cold. So far so good. I am trying to prevent any dementia or Alzeimher's since both my parents have it. I am already forgetful at 53. So many i am doing this for prevention. I will be taking it forever.

Are these grown on wood in a lab? I've read mushrooms grown in a lab are not as strong as those grown in the wild.
Hello! Thanks for the question! So first, I will directly say wherever you found that, it is a lie. Wood grown mushrooms are turned in 10x extracts meaning they need to make it about 10x stronger to standardize it to 30% polysaccharides. Our mushrooms, are not extracts and have a naturally occurring 70% (roughly) polysaccharides.
The DNA used to make our mushrooms has gone through a few decades of natural selection - competing various strains against each other so the most powerful wins and is selected to create the next cycle. As well, from a nutrition standpoint, Milo is a lot more nutritious than wood! So the mushrooms grow faster, and are much stronger.
Most studies use whole, full-spectrum mushrooms and not extracts from mushrooms grown on logs.
As well, wild grown mushrooms are prone to toxins and insect droppings. This does not happen in a controlled commercial lab setting. Toxins and droppings cannot be washed off or removed doing pressure cooking.
